Chemical Composition/Ingredients
The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.
Advanced
The GHS classifications for chemicals associated with products in this database may be viewed by selecting the "Advanced" button on the Chemical Ingredients tables. Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.-
Primary Chemical Name is the standard name assigned to a chemical substance.
ChemicalChemical Abstracts Service Registry Number is a unique identifier for a chemical and its synonyms. CAS numbers identify the chemical, but not its concentration or specific mixture. CAS Registry Numbers are assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society. For more information: www.cas.org

Hazard Codes and their associated descriptions are an essential part of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). There are 4 categories of Hazard Codes:
- Physical Hazard Codes (H200 series)
- Health Hazard Codes (H300 series)
- Environmental Hazard Codes (H400 series)
- Supplementary Hazard Codes (EUH series)
Hazard Codes may be found in the "Advanced" version of Chemical Composition / Ingredients tables.

Precautionary Code
Precautionary Codes may be found in the "Advanced" version of Chemical Composition / Ingredients tables.PictogramSVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
SVHC?
1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).Calcium carbonate (Limestone) 001317-65-3 215-279-6 60-100 -------- ------- ---- No Quartz 014808-60-7 238-878-4 0.1-1 -------- ------- ---- No Bleach (unspecified) 999999-56-0 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Cleaning agent(s) 999999-47-1 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Quality control agent(s) 999999-49-8 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Fragrance(s)/perfume(s) 000000-00-1 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Colorant/Pigment/Dye(s) 999999-49-3 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Click on each chemical for information on chemical structure, properties and health effects.

Acute health effects
From MSDS Ingestion: Mild mucous membrane irritant. May result in gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Eye Contact: Mild eye irritant. Direct contact with eye may result in superficial, temporary irritation similar to those produced by other household detergents. Skin: Mild skin irritant. Prolonged skin contact or direct contact with eye may result in superficial, temporary irritation similar to those produced by other household detergents. Inhalation: Mild respiratory irritant. Unusually high exposures may cause coughing or irritation of nose and throat. -
Chronic health effects
From MSDS Prolonged skin contact or direct contact with eye may result in superficial, temporary irritation similar to those produced by other household detergents. -

From MSDS None -
Handling information
From MSDS Precautions To Be Taken in Handling and Storing: Avoid moisture when storing to prevent loss of bleaching action and to prevent caking. Other Precautions: None required. -
Disposal information
From MSDS Waste Disposal Method: Product contains biodegradable surfactant. If permitted, flush small quantities down sewer drain with large excess of water or dispose of at landfill. DISPOSAL IS TO BE PERFORMED IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION Calcium carbonate, an ingredient of this product, contains small amounts of crystalline silica (quartz) as a naturally occurring impurity. Prolonged, excessively high exposures to respirable crystalline silica may result in reduced lung function in some individuals. IARC has found sufficient evidence to classify crystalline silica as a carcinogen in animals, but there is limited evidence in humans. Product as a whole: CARCINOGENICITY: None known SENSITIZATION EFFECTS: None known REPRODUCTIVE EFFECTS: None known SYNERGISTIC EFFECTS: None known ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION No concerns -
First Aid
From MSDS Emergency and First Aid Procedures: Ingestion: Dilute with fluids and treat symptomatically. Eye Contact: For accidental eye contact, flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. Skin: Wash with soap and water and discontinue use. Inhalation: For accidental, high level inhalation, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if coughing persists. Other: Product package has a caution statement: CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. May cause eye irritation. In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, see a physician. If swallowed, drink a glass of water to dilute. Do not mix with other products especially toilet bowl cleansers and products that contain ammonia.
