The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.
Advanced
The GHS classifications for chemicals associated with products in this database may be viewed by selecting the "Advanced" button on the Chemical Ingredients tables. Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.-

2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).PPG-5-Ceteth-20 009087-53-0 -- Conditioner -------- ------- ---- No Geraniol 000106-24-1 203-377-1 Conditioner H315, H317, H318 ------- No Octyldodecanol 005333-42-6 226-242-9 Colorant -------- ------- ---- No Cocamide MIPA 068333-82-4 269-793-0 Colorant -------- ------- ---- No Water 007732-18-5 231-791-2 Colorant -------- ------- ---- No Oleic acid 000112-80-1 204-007-1 Colorant -------- ------- ---- No MEA laureth sulfate 999999-86-8 -- Colorant -------- ------- ---- No Hydroxypropyl Bis(N-Hydroxyethyl-P-Phenylenediamine) Hcl 128729-28-2 416-320-2 Coloranr -------- ------- ---- No 3-Aminophenol 000591-27-5 209-711-2 Colorant H411, H400, H317, H302, H332 P264, P270, P301+P312, P330, P261, P271 No Hydrogen peroxide 007722-84-1 231-765-0 >8 (Developer) H271, H302, H314, H332, H335, H412 ------- No Fragrance(s)/perfume(s) 000000-00-1 -- Conditioner -------- ------- ---- No Methylparaben 000099-76-3 202-785-7 Conditioner H411 P273, P391, P501 No Camphor Benzalkonium Methosulfate 052793-97-2 258-190-8 Conditioner -------- ------- ---- No Trideceth-12 024938-91-8 - Handling information
For Developer:
Do not use or store with near fuels, solvents, or other organic materials. Avoid iron, zinc, and reducing agents. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Other Precautions
For external use only. Use only as directed.
For Colorant:
Store bulk quantities in a cool, well-ventilated room away from ignition sources. Avoid contact with eyes and skin (other than areas of application). Do not inhale or ingest. Prepare and use in a well-ventilated area. To assure maximum shelf-life, avoid direct sunlight.
Other Precautions
For external use only. Use only as directed. Keep out of reach.of children. Patch test is intended to identify skin reaction only; it will not necessarily predict sensitization or irritation secondary to inhalation. Read the product package insert completely.
For Supreme Conditioner:
Store bulk quantities in a cool, well-ventilated room. Limit quantities on hand to the extent possible. Store away from possible sources of ignition. Observe usual precautions relative to static electricity. Avoid oxidizing agents and nitric acid.
Other Precautions
For external use only. Use only as directed. -
Disposal information
For Developer:
30-40 volume developer products are ignitable (DO01) RCRA hazardous wastes when intended for disposal. Physical and/or chemical deactivation/degredation is the required method of treatment and disposal.
For Colorant:
This material is not regulated under RCRA. Accordingly, incineration at a non-hazardous waste treatment facility is the preferred method of disposal.
For Supreme Conditioner:
Non-hazardous products are not regulated as hazardous wastes when intended for disposal. However, incineration is the recommended method of treatment and disposal for such products. -
First Aid
For Exposure to Developer:
If swallowed, drink one or two glasses of water or milk. Call a physician, hosptial emergency room, or poison control center immediately. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention.
If in eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
If on skin, flush with water, then wash with soap and plenty of water. Consult a physician if irritation occurs.
For Exposure to Colorant:
If swallowed, call a physician, hospital emergency room, or poison control center immediately. Induce vomiting only if recommended by medical personnel. Get prompt medical attention.
If affected by inhalation, move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, get medical attention.
If eye or skin contact occurs, immediately flush with water and get medical attention if irritation occurs.
For Exposure to Supreme Conditioner:
If in eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation occurs.
If swallowed, drink one or two glasses of water or milk and consult a physician.
If on skin, wash with soap and water.
