Chemical Composition/Ingredients
The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.
Advanced
The GHS classifications for chemicals associated with products in this database may be viewed by selecting the "Advanced" button on the Chemical Ingredients tables. Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.-
Primary Chemical Name is the standard name assigned to a chemical substance.
ChemicalChemical Abstracts Service Registry Number is a unique identifier for a chemical and its synonyms. CAS numbers identify the chemical, but not its concentration or specific mixture. CAS Registry Numbers are assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society. For more information: www.cas.org

We have assigned "ID numbers" (with 6 leading zeros or nines, e.g., 000000-xx-x , 888888-xx-x) or 999999-xx-x) for blends and chemicals that do not have CAS numbers.Percent of chemical in preparation.

Since this is a work in progress, GHS classifications may not be shown for all chemical ingredients.Hazard Codes and their associated descriptions are an essential part of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). There are 4 categories of Hazard Codes:
- Physical Hazard Codes (H200 series)
- Health Hazard Codes (H300 series)
- Environmental Hazard Codes (H400 series)
- Supplementary Hazard Codes (EUH series)
Hazard Codes may be found in the "Advanced" version of Chemical Composition / Ingredients tables.

Precautionary Codes may be found in the "Advanced" version of Chemical Composition / Ingredients tables.PictogramSVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
SVHC?
1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).Oxirane, methyl, polymer and oxibane, butyl ether 009038-95-3 -- -- -------- ------- ---- No Diethylene glycol 000111-46-6 203-872-2 0-8 H302 ------- No Methoxydiglycol 000111-77-3 203-906-6 -- H361 P201, P202, P281, P308+P313, P405, P501 No Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether 000112-34-5 203-961-6 -- H319 P264, P280, P305+P351+P338, P337+P313 No Methoxytriglycol 000112-35-6 203-962-1 -- -------- ------- ---- No Ethoxytriglycol 000112-50-5 203-978-9 -- -------- ------- ---- No Tetraethylene glycol 000112-60-7 203-989-9 -- -------- ------- ---- No Butoxytriglycol 000143-22-6 205-592-6 -- H318 P280, P305+P351+P338, P310 No Glycols, polyethylene 025322-68-3 500-038-2 -- -------- ------- ---- No Click on each chemical for information on chemical structure, properties and health effects.

Warnings
Caution: Contains Polyalkylene Glycol Ethers. Avoid eye contact. Immediately wash eyes with water for 15 minutes. Call physician immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
-
Acute health effects
From MSDS Inhalation: High concentrations of vapor may cause skin irritation experienced as nasal discomfort and discharge. Eye Contact: May cause moderate eye irritation and possible corneal injury. Skin Contact: Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause skin irritation. A single prolonged exposure is not likely to result in material being absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts. Prolonged or repeated skin exposure to very large amounts of some of the ingredients of this formulation may cause drowsiness. Ingestion: Accidental ingestion o9f a small amount may cause gastrointestinal discomfort with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. A large ingestion may produce central nervous system depression and kidney and liver damage.
-
Chronic health effects
From MSDS There are no known or reported effects from chronic exposure except for effects similar to those experienced from single exposure. Medical conditions aggravated by overexposure: A knowledge of the available toxicology information and of the physical and clinical properties of this material suggest that over exposure is unlikely to aggravate existing medical conditions. This product may contain amines which may react with nitrites to form nitrosamines. Some nitrosamines have been shown to be carcinogenic in laboratory animals. Some minor components of this product, when tested separately, have resulted in fetal toxicity in animals studied, and one component caused birth defects in animals following ingestion of large dosages. Some minor components, when tested separately, have been shown not to interfere with reproduction, although one of these minor components was slightly toxic to the offspring of treated female rats.
-
Carcinogenicity
From MSDS None of the ingredients in this product is listed as a carcinogen or potential carcinogen by NTP, IARC, or OSHA.
-
Handling information
From MSDS Avoid eye contact. Avoid prolonged/repeated skin contact. Avoid breathing vapors or mists. Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after use. Do not add nitrites or other nitrosating agents. A nitrosamine, which may cause cancer may be formed. Keep away from open flames and excessive heat. Do not cut or weld on or near empty drums or pails. Do not reuse empty containers unless properly cleaned. Empty containers contain product residue and may be dangerous. Do not cut, weld, drill etc. containers, even empty. Keep out of reach of children.
