Warnings
CAUTION: Contains Petroleum Oil (Grease). Repeated skin contact can cause skin disorders. ATTENTION: Repeated exposure to oil mist in excess of the OSHA limit (5mg/m3) can result in accumulation of oil droplets in pulmonary tissue. Avoid excessive & prolonged skin contact. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid generation and inhalation of oil mists. INSTRUCTIONS IN CASE OF FIRE OR SPILL: In case of fire, use water spray, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Water spray may be ineffective, but can be used to cool containers. In case of spill, do not use water, soak up with absorbent material. -
Acute health effects
From MSDS Eye Contact: This product is minimally irritating to the eyes upon direct contact. Based on testing of similar products and/or components. Skin Contact: Avoid skin contact. This product is minimally irritating to the skin upon direct contact. Prolonged or repeated contact may result in contact dermatitis which is characterized by dryness, chapping, and reddening. Prolonged or repeated contact may result in oil acne which is characterized by blackheads with possible secondary infection. A high pressure grease gun injection injury can cause serious, delayed soft tissue damage. Inhalation: This product has a low vapor pressure and is not expected to present an inhalation hazard at ambient conditions. Caution should be taken to prevent aerosolization or misting of this product. On rare occasions, prolonged and repeated exposure to oil mist poses a risk of pulmonary disease such as chronic lung inflammation. Shortness of breath and cough are the most common symptoms. These are low-grade, chronic localized tissue reactions. Ingestion: Do not ingest. This product is relatively non-toxic by ingestion. This product has laxative properties and may result in abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Exposure to a large single dose, or repeated smaller doses, may lead to lung aspiration, which can lead to lipid pneumonia or chronic lung inflammation. These are low-grade, chronic localized tissue reactions. Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Drying and chapping may make the skin more susceptible to other irritants, sensitizers and disease. -
Chronic health effects

Carcinogenicity
From MSDS The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has concluded that there is inadequate data to evaluate the carcinogenicity to experimental animals of formulated products. -
Handling information
From MSDS Fire extinguishers should be kept readily available. Do not transfer to unmarked containers. Store in closed containers away from heat, sparks, open flame, or oxidizing materials. Empty container may retain product residues. -
Disposal information
From MSDS Dispose of residual products and empty containers responsibly. Waste material may be landfilled or incinerated at an approved facility. Materials should be recycled if possible. -
First Aid
From MSDS Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water and continue flushing until irritation subsides. If material is hot, treat for thermal burns and seek immediate medical attention. Skin Contact: No treatment is necessary under ordinary circumstances. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash contaminated area thoroughly with soap and water. If redness or irritation occurs and persists, seek medical attention. If material is hot, submerge injured area in cold water. If victim is severely burned, remove to a hospital immediately. If injected under skin, contact a physician immediately.
