Chemical Composition/Ingredients
The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.

Primary Chemical Name is the standard name assigned to a chemical substance.
ChemicalChemical Abstracts Service Registry Number is a unique identifier for a chemical and its synonyms. CAS numbers identify the chemical, but not its concentration or specific mixture. CAS Registry Numbers are assigned by the Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society. For more information: www.cas.org

We have assigned "ID numbers" (with 6 leading zeros or nines, e.g., 000000-xx-x , 888888-xx-x) or 999999-xx-x) for blends and chemicals that do not have CAS numbers. Is a seven-digit number (xxx-xxx-x) assigned by the European Commission to chemicals contained in three inventories:
EC No.
EINECS is the European Inventory of Existing Commercial Substances and its EINECS numbers are displayed as 2xx-xxx-x.
ELINCS is the European List of Notified Chemical Substances that was available after September 18, 1981 and its ELINCS numbers are displayed as 4xx-xxx-x.
NLP is the No-Longer Polymers category and its NLP numbers are displayed as 5xx-xxx-xPercent of chemical in preparation.

EU Hazard Classification Directive 67/548/EECHazard Symbols are used to classify dangerous substances.
Hazard SymbolsRisk Phrases, denoted as a series of numbers preceded by the letter "R" indicate the nature of the special risks, in accordance with Annex III to Directive 67/548/EEC (see Article 23(2)(d) Directive 67/548/EEC). The numbers are separated by either a comma to denote separate statements concerning special risks, or an oblique stroke (/) to denote a combined statement, in a single sentence, of the special risks.
Risk PhrasesSafety Phrases, denoted as a series of numbers preceded by the letter "S" indicating the recommended safety precautions, in accordance with Annex IV to Directive 67/548/EEC. The numbers are separated by either a comma to denote separate statements concerning safety precautions, or an oblique stroke (/) to denote a combined statement, in a single sentence, of the safety precautions.
Safety PhrasesSVHC is a substance (identified by the European Chemicals Agency) that may have serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment. SVHC are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (“the REACH Regulation”) and include substances which are:
SVHC?
1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC or in category 1a or 1b in accordance with EC No 1272/2008This directive was recently replaced by the new EU regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
2. Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, or
3. Identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects to human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disrupters).-- 014807-96-6 -- -- -- -- -- 013463-67-7 -- -- -- -- -- 066402-68-4 -- -- -- -- -- 007732-18-5 -- -- -- -- -- 025265-77-4 -- -- -- -- -- 025067-01-0 -- -- -- -- Click on each chemical for information on chemical structure, properties and health effects.

Warnings
Causes eye, skin and respiratory tract irritation. Harmful if swallowed. When tinted, contains ethylene glycol which can cause severe kidney damage when ingested and has been shown to cause birth defects in laboratory animals. Overexposure may cause liver, kidney damage. Use only with adequate ventilation. Keep out of the reach of children. This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer. If sanding is done, wear a dust mask to avoid breathing of sanding dust. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, leave the area. If properly used, a respirator may offer additional protection. Obtain professional advice before using. Close container after each use. -
Acute health effects
From MSDS Primary route(s) of exposure: Inhalation, skin contact, eye contact, ingestion. Effects of overexposure: INHALATION: Irritation of respiratory tract. Prolonged inhalation may lead to chest pain, coughing, difficulty of breathing, severe lung irritation or damage, pneumoconiosis. SKIN CONTACT: Irritation of skin. EYE CONTACT: Irritation of eyes. Prolonged or repeated contact can cause tearing of eyes, redness of eyes. INGESTION: Ingestion may cause mouth and throat irritation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastro-intestinal disturbances, abdominal pain. Medical conditions aggravated by exposure: Eye, skin, respiratory disorders, asthma-like conditions. -
Chronic health effects
From MSDS Product contains talc which is considered a hazard by inhalation. Prolonged inhalation of product may lead to chest pain, coughing, difficulty of breathing, severe lung irritation or damage and pneumoconiosis. Prolonged or repeated eye contact can cause tearing and redness of eyes. No additional effects are anticipated. -
Carcinogenicity
From MSDS Inhalation of non-asbestiform cosmetic grade talc for 2 years at 6 and 18 mg/m3 produced clear evidence of carcinogenicity in female rats (lung and adrenal tumors) and some evidence of carcinogenicity in male rats (adrenal tumors). No evidence of carcinogenicity was demonstrated in male and female mice exposed under the same conditions. Microscopic examination of the lungs of rats and mice exposed to talc revealed additional exposure-related effects, primarily associated with the inflammatory response. -
Handling information
From MSDS Handling and storage: Store below 100oF (38oC). Keep from freezing. Other precautions: Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not take internally. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and breathing of vapors. Wash hands thoroughly after handling, especially before eating or smoking. Keep containers tightly closed and upright when not in use. Avoid conditions which result in formation of inhalable particles such as spraying or abrading (sanding) painted surfaces. If such conditions cannot be avoided, use appropriate respiratory protection. -
Disposal information
From MSDS Dispose in accordance with all applicable regulations. Avoid discharge to natural waters. -
First Aid
From MSDS INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Restore and support continued breathing. Get emergency medical attention. Have trained person give oxygen if necessary. Get medical help for any breathing difficulty. Remove to fresh air if inhalation causes eye watering, headaches, dizziness, or other discomfort. SKIN: Flush from skin with water. Then wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use. EYE: Flush immediately with large amounts of water, especially under lids for at least 15 minutes. If irritation or other effects persist, obtain medical treatment.
