It is not flammable but will burn under fire conditions. Direct contact may cause minor eye and skin irritation.
Potential Health Effects
Inhalation: Due to very low vapor pressure, vapor inhalation under ambient conditions is normally not a problem. But if mist forms or vapor from hot product forms in poorly ventilated surroundings, it may cause irritation of the nose and throat, headache, nausea, and drowsiness.
Skin contact: Brief skin contact may cause slight irritation. Prolonged contact, as with clothing wetted with the material, may cause more severe irritation and discomfort, seen as local redness and swelling.
Eye contact: May cause minimal irritation, experienced as temporary discomfort.
Ingestion: Accidental ingestion of a small amount of the product is expected to have little acute toxicity. Mild mucous membrane irritation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, belching and diarrhea may occur. Because of its high viscosity, the product has a low aspiration hazard potential.
Medical conditions aggravated by exposure: This product may aggravate an existing dermatitis (skin condition).

Handling information
Avoid eye and skin contact. Avoid breathing mists. Immediately remove contaminated clothing and laundered before re-use. Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after use. Do not heat this product or use in confined spaces without proper ventilation or respiratory protection. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area at temperatures below 125F. Do not add nitrites. This product contains amines which can combine with nitrites to form nitrosamines. Many nitrosamines have been found to cause cancer in laboratory animals. Empty containers retain product residues and may be dangerous. Do not cut, weld, drill, etc. containers, even empty. Do not incinerate empty containers.

First Aid
Inhalation: Vapor inhalation under ambient conditions is normally not a problem. If overcome by vapor from hot product or oil mist remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, administer oxygen if available. Get medical attention if breathing becomes difficult or symptoms persist.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash all affected and exposed areas with soap and water. Get medical attention if skin irritation develops or persists.
Eye contact: Exposed eyes should be immediately flushed with copious amounts of water, using a steady stream for a minimum of 15 minutes. If a contact lens is present, it should be removed while the eye it is being flushed. If irritation develops, seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by medical personnel. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below the hips to prevent aspiration into the lungs. Seek immediate medical attention by calling a physician, poison control center or hospital emergency room.
Notes to Physician: There is no specific antidote. Treatment should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical condition. A serious potential toxic effect is aspiration pneumonitis. The patient should be observed for signs of lung injury if aspiration is suspected.
