The GHS is an acronym for The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. The GHS is a system for standardizing and harmonizing the classification and labelling of chemicals. Chemicals are associated with codes that define their health, physical and environmental hazards. This universal hazard communication system was developed to ensure that employers, employees and consumers are provided with adequate, practical, reliable and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, so that they can take effective preventive and protective measure for their own health and safety.

Hazard Codes and their associated descriptions are an essential part of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). There are 4 categories of Hazard Codes:
- Physical Hazard Codes (H200 series)
- Health Hazard Codes (H300 series)
- Environmental Hazard Codes (H400 series)
- Supplementary Hazard Codes (EUH series)
Hazard Codes may be found in the "Advanced" version of Chemical Composition / Ingredients tables.

Hazards Identification
Emergency Overview
If spilled, an irritating dust could be released into the air so the immediate area should be evacuated. When cleaning up a spill, if dust if evident, a respirator with a P100 HEPA cartridge should be worn. The product contains enzymes (respiratory sensitizer) and a strong oxidizing agent (sodium percarbonate). Spilled materials should be picked up and not flushed to a sewer or surface waterway.
Potential Health Effects
Inhalation: The product contains enzymes so repeated, prolonged exposure to the powder may result in sensitization and transient “hay-fever like” symptoms. The product also contains sodium percarbonate which is irritating to the mucous lining of the nose, throat and eyes.
Eye contact: May cause moderate, reversible irritation (stinging, tearing, swelling or redness).
Skin contact: Repeated and prolonged contact way cause mild, transient irritation.
Ingestion: Although an unlikely occupational exposure route, ingestion may cause transient gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
Medical Conditions Generally Known to be Aggravated by Exposure: Pre-existing sensitization to enzymes could cause asthma-like symptoms to occur.
Target Organ: Respiratory system
