GENERAL HEALTH EFFECTS- PHYSICIANS NOTE Massive accidental aspiration may cause impaction blockage of airways. Lesser amounts may lead to bronchoconstriction, bronchitis, pulmonary edema, or fibrosis. Respiratory arrest should be treated with intensive supportive therapy and oxygen. If respiration is compromised, endotracheal intubation, removal of impacted material, and assisted breathing should be considered. This product contains no detectable asbestiform minerals or free crystalline silica (quartz) as per CTFA Methods J-4-1 and J-5-1.
