First Aid Information For: Prestone Stops Leaks-08/26/2011-Old Product

Inhalation: Vapor inhalation under ambient conditions is normally not a problem. If overcome by vapor from hot product or oil mist remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, administer oxygen if available. Get medical attention if breathing becomes difficult or symptoms persist.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash all affected and exposed areas with soap and water. Get medical attention if skin irritation develops or persists.
Eye contact: Exposed eyes should be immediately flushed with copious amounts of water, using a steady stream for a minimum of 15 minutes. If a contact lens is present, it should be removed while the eye it is being flushed. If irritation develops, seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by medical personnel. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below the hips to prevent aspiration into the lungs. Seek immediate medical attention by calling a physician, poison control center or hospital emergency room.
Notes to Physician: There is no specific antidote. Treatment should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical condition. A serious potential toxic effect is aspiration pneumonitis. The patient should be observed for signs of lung injury if aspiration is suspected.
